Alex McCoyAssociate Alex McCoy is an Associate. Prior to Revolution Ventures, he worked in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Cowen and Company. Alex worked with senior bankers to advise corporate clients and the venture capital community on financial matters and strategic alternatives. He was involved in the execution and management of public and private equity offerings, convertible debt offerings, M&A transactions and the rendering of fairness opinions. Alex has played an integral role in several high profile recent transactions, including the sale of PortalPlayer to NVIDIA and DivX¹s successful initial public offering. Alex graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in International Relations and minor concentrations in Economics and Political Science. While at Penn, he spent a summer in Nicosia, Cyprus participating in a negotiation and mediation symposium. Alex speaks French and is an avid traveler and skier. |
